From prem to club struggling in div 3 ? I would have thought so tbh, plenty of championship clubs looking imo
Unrealistic maybe but also impossible because I cannot see the club coming to their senses and doing anything to address this decline.
I would be advising Bobby not to put up his family photo's in his new office just yet, as he may be moving along the corridor shortly.
These are managers that will be demanding far higher money than 3rd division clubs can afford...if anyone seriously suggests Monk or Pearson might even consider dropping from the premier league to Div 3 they are deluded.
Yes it's unrealistic. 1. They aren't going to sack him, as whilst I wish I might be proved wrong, there's little more reason to do so now than there was a month or even two ago. Just an accumulation of additional evidence that his ability as a coach, motivator and tactician are on par with my abilities in rocket science, brain surgery and modern street dancing. 2. He's just left a premier league club, after having led them to their highest ever league finish in May and being talked up as a manager of a big club or even England. Their chairman, obviously the antithesis of ours, hit the trigger a tad prematurely you might argue. But either way you look at it - he wouldn't come here, he's on ten times more money not working than whatever we could pay him (Swansea would stop paying him as soon as he got another job), and he will be snapped up in due course by another premier league team, else one in the top half of the championship.
