    He should be given one week for every year worked, I bet he'd negotiate better term somehow. No need to shed any tears for being payed as a failure.

    Have you not noticed that we can't afford to open all the stadium when we expect a small crowd.. Have you not seen the plans to build on half the car park. Don't you think maintaining a 23,000 stadium to accommodate 5.000 a bit of a waste?

    Get the Stones money, knock a new stadium up, Patrick would then own the job lot which would make a more attractive package for potential buyers.

    I don't see what Christmas week's got to do with anything

    its not like he'd be out on the street with his huge pay-off is it?

    I myself on the other hand, had my contract cancelled at TATA Steel and finish today. As a contractor I get no big pay-off.

    Not that I'm in the sack-him brigade anyway by the way.
