    My mate who's a big town fan was glad to see back of Powell not sure I want him. If I could have one unrealistic manager it would be Nigel Pearson but I'd happily have Burton and hecky until end of season

    I spoke to him a few week back he was sure they wouldn't go down and thought that new fella had some good ideas not sure if he will still feel same now.

    Forget Nigel Pearson he wouldn't come here for a relegation fight but he would take no prisoners and get some fight in this bunch. Better option than di canio but like I said forget it no chance

    I think we're in dreamland if we expect people like Powell and Pearson to come to Barnsley.

    I'd give the job to Hassell/Hecky until the end of the season. If they get us to mid-table then give them a crack at it full-time. Sure they couldn't do any worse than our mate Jonno...

    Dont get this Burton call im constantly hearing. He won a couple of games last time but his team loses every week dont they? I cant see him being very successful over a longer period.

    You mean with out highest league finish in over a decade? Hammering sides like West Brom and Leeds nearly every year... No he was a complete failure!
