Well, i mean one has to get in a side with Premier league players and the other has to compete against Championship defenders.

I thought McNulty was unlucky for us. Alongside Foster he had a really good first season. Won player's player and attracted interest from other clubs. Second season he got injured. Came back in to a struggling team and crucially we'd lost Andy Gray and not replaced his ability to hold up the ball. This meant none of the defence had an out ball and as a team we got bogged down playing across the back line and invited pressure on ourselves. He became the fall guy for these problems.

McNulty Scared the hell out of me, always looked like making an error, as does nyatanga this season. Both players seem capable when on form however in a straight comparison is have Nyatanga in my team every time

Why is that then? McNulty's mistakes were no where near as bad or as frequent as Nyatanga's and he didn't cost us goal after goal after goal. McNulty drops down to League 1 and looks a much more capable defender where as Nyatanga drops down a division and looks even worse. McNulty actually spoke to the other defenders once in a while too.

Mcnulty made more mistakes in one game than nyatanga will make in his whole career and that's a hell of alot of mistakes

McNulty far better on the ball. Arguably had his best games in midfield for us - Nyatanga would have no chance in there. Reckon Lewin's stronger and better in the air but both have been/were decidedly average for us defensively.
