That Nixon fellah on Twitter confirmed that it's very true.

Personally believe we'd miss him and I think he's a good player for this league.

Don't think there's room for him and Scowen in the team, we've picked up a bit since Scowen's injury basically because him and Pearson are defensive players in a team with very little creativity, I don't think playing both of them again in the future would be of any benefit so in that sense Pearson wouldn't be a loss, although he is a good player and will no doubt be a top Champ/lower Prem player in the future

Must say I like watching Pearson play, done abart a seasons worth of first team games, so should be kicking on a bit from narr and if the rumour is reight then good luck to him. Agree with others abart his remonstrating with ref and standing wi his arms int air appealing, summat he looks to picked up from Hourihane.

Anyways if he is to go then he must be replaced by an experienced laiker. Most young uns go into teams playing alongside experience some of ours aint yet they still seem to get lambasted for performances when we know some shouldn`t be here and others should have that guiding force on the pitch with them.

So are they not getting a full pay packet ? Just because we know they are not up to it does not exempt them from criticism ! They are paid very well and they should be good enough to do the job they are paid for. I know it is a stupid policy from above but that does not excuse the lack of basic skills which our young players seem to be missing at times .

Didn't Pearson run the game when we played a Man Utd XI a couple of seasons back?

Scored a beauty against us if I remember rightly

This being the case then he's probably played his last match for us, Bournmouth won't want him to risk injury now.

They are all due criticism, but why the need for some to go way over the top, it aint a competition to see who can come up with the most disparaging remarks. Just think we ought to cut em a bit of slack once in a while without being blinded one way or tother.

As for lacking basic skills that's been accredited to young and old alike every season we have been at the arse end of the league table.

Merry Xmas by the way fella to you and yours.

I dont think they actually lack these, its just they are too lacksidasical (?) in their play. Pearson could be a very good player if he actually did something instead of fakling into the David Perkins way of playing, ie running about a lot waving his arms and shouting at everyone . I am sure there is a decent player in there, but he doesnt fit into the style of play we have at the moment.
Hope you are having a good Christmas mate.

If this happens then good luck to him. He will struggle to get in their team though so might find himself shipped out on loan again.

Hard to take this though - the fact that going to Bournemouth is a step UP from us

    What style is that?

Is style the right word to use?

Think we will just have to disagree on Pearson Mark.
