Cracking 9 darter from Anderson last night. I'll shout for the English lad but feel the way Gary is playing he'll win the title

It's been an incredible tournament. Some brilliant matches. Don't mind who wins later. I like both players. Like you say though, the way Gary is playing, he'll take some stopping.

Been a fantastic tournament let down by the two semis, despite the 9 darter. Final should be a cracking game though

Thought Lewis from the start but never backed him. Probably should for tonight. No matter how average/alright he plays all year he always does really well at the worlds. He's got Keith Deller back helping him who worked with him to two world titles and the significance of winning a third which few have done won't be lost on him. To do it in just six years too.

Hope Anderson wins but got a feeling Lewis will.

Bit of a strange one so far. Lewis scoring fine but struggling with doubles. Anderson struggling to count and also to see!

Just put my last 3 quid in my bet365 account on Lewis at 6-1.

Not the final that would have seemed most fitting after such a great tournament, but enjoyable none the less. Some great matches right up until last night really.

Enjoyed it though, always a great accompaniment to Christmas and the New Year.

It was an intriguing final in many ways, but lacked the excitement of some of the previous matches. A bit like the 2008 FA Cup Final. Actually, that wasn't even really intriguing was it. Well played Anderson anyway. Looking forward to the Premier League now. Smith could be an interesting addition.

Thought the semis and final were a massive let down compared to the rest of the tournament. Not for quality but excitement. Some great games in last 16 and quarters especially.

can't wait for the BDO lol :)

There were some passages of play last night that were getting a bit 'BDOish'.

I agree. Quality was good but the excitement of the tournament was poor. No unheard of guy came out of the pack this year like Reyes for example did last year. Early rounds were so poor with so many one sided 3-0 and 4-0 wins. At least with having Sky Plus you can wind on the constant adverts and guys like Wayne Mardle speaking. Shame the crowd can't be muted with their annoying chants though. I don't mind Gary winning it again as he's one of the few top players who don't have dirt on them that you'd expect only from a football player. Seems a genuinely nice guy.
