Re: where has this come from Jan aga fjordtoft comes to mind. He was from up that way wasn't he. We'd have him again.
Re: where has this come from Ah yes Mr Badger he was an exception to the rule. You are correct in that he would certainly do a job for us in his younger years
O'Neil Thompson (from Jamaica..) had never played any higher than for a bottom second tier club in Norway when he came to Barnsley. I have no idea why we signed him, but it would be unfair to compare Drange to him. Drange has played quite a few games at the top level and done well. I guess he won't be on a lot of money in Norway, so he wouldn't be very expensive, and not comanding a transfer fee will make it a rather low risk signing. Exactly. He has been on fire since returning to the Norwegian top tire. He's lack of form when playing for Barnsley were at least partly due to a lot of injuries and never getting a proper run out in the side when injury free.
Good knowledge/memory, I'd completely forgotten about him... thankfully!! I was never a big fan of Davey's policies of what seemed to be YouTube signings. Let's hope this Drage is a Ferenczi rather than a Mostto if he signs.
Crap signing. He played his last game in Mark Robins's first game at the same time as another useless ****** - Kayode Odejayi.
Odejayi a useless ******? He won headers, held the ball up and was involved in a lot of goals. Being a Striker isn't all about scoring goals ya know. Also he is probably the nicest guy I've ever met at the open days he always made sure every single person got a signature so how you can call him a ****** is beyond me. O'Neil Thompson never really got a chance so it would be unfair to judge.
kayode was a lovely fella. One of the nicest I've ever met. Truly terrible footballer though unfortunately
Depends what you see as a good footballer. In my opinion he had the qualities of a very good target man. He won plenty of headers. Confidence was always a big barrier for Kayode.
I've rarely wanted a player to be better than he was more than Special Kay. A hero for us in my opinion, despite his limited ability. Scored a vital goal, tried hard and is apparently a top lad.... but he was s**t. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I am really glad you are not the manager of Barnsley FC , you would have us relegated by the end of September !! If it was down to confidence he should have been a world beater after the Chelsea match, but he just proved that the Chelsea game was his career high point !
