This would be amazing to me...

I signed this lad on Football Manager 12 I think it must have been, or maybe 14 and he was amazing. Scored about 15 and assisted 20 in 2 seasons in the Championship and then did well in the Premier League too (as Barnsley). He was one of my favourite all time signings on the game, would love if we signed him just because of that :D

If I remember right could play AMC, AMR, AML and MC but best position AMC.

I would do a better job than LJ and it is not possible to be relegated in September. As I said before Odejayi was good for the team it ain't all about scoring. If Winnall had someone like Kayode next to him he would get a lot more chances.

Jabo Ibehre is just like Odejayi. For some bizarre reason our fans seem to appreciate him more.

Norwegian Premier League is like the conference? If i'v not misunderstood and that is what you're saying. I bet all the teams in the NPL would beat Barnsley and most, if not all teams in League One.

You do realise they have academies that would probably beat us. Odegaard being a recent example breaking into the national team at 15/16 and getting a transfer to R. Madrid. Iver Fossum getting a move to the Bundesliga recently. They have a few teams in Europe and this season Molde beat Celtic twice in the Europa League. Rosenborg are often in the Europa League/Champions League.

And he also didn't score the goal to send us to Wembley either.

I think your misinterpreting Tyke_80 Post. He isn't comparing the NPL with L1 he is stating it could be an equivalent financial deal for us. However Norway has one of the richest economies so I don't know what the standard of package would be for a L2 footballer there compared to here.

Yes they are both black, but that is where the comparison ends, Oddjob scored about 5/6 goals in about 75/80 appearances, Ibehre scored 2 in about 10. Jabo actually looked like a footballer and Oddjob looked like a prop forward. I have no idea what Jabo is like as a person, but Odejayi was a very nice lad when I met him, but that is not a requirement for being a footballer. If Odejayi had been as good as you say , the surely somewhere along his career he would have been picked up by a decent team, not including Barnsley !

The team he plays for average about 2,800 so I doubt he would be on a lot.

Their top league is ranked 22nd in Europe, below Cyprus and Belarus but above Scotland. Not that this has any relevance as he plays in the second tier.

Kayode has actually played in the Championship though. Jabo's strike rate at Colchester was like 3 in 52 and he's had that sort of scoring record at pretty much every club he's been at. They are very similar because neither score many goals but they are both very good targetmen who work hard and really add a physical presence to the team. Anyway I'm sure Odejayi would of scored more in this terrible division.

Have you checked how many he has scored for Tranmere and Accrington ?

Only this last year, before that he was a regular for Tromso who are a good Tippeligaen side. He also has a cap for the national team. Not that they are brilliant but Gibraltar have conference players playing for them as a comparison.

We all know the official rankings are a load of ****, how do England manage to stay where they are? Baffles me.

If that's the case then fair enough.
