Must have sold over a thousand in 24 hours. Yesterday box office tweeted it had sold just under 5 thousand. Good going that
I agree Surprised many more haven't taken the club up on the fiver deal. Regardless of the competition. That said, £30,000 more in gate receipts than we would have been taking had we been knocked out by now. And probably another £7,500ish in food and programmes and the like. I agree still good money coming in but should have sold many more I won't ever urge the club to reduce tickets from now on as our fans still won't come out and support there team for the same price as burger and chips from take away . If we kept prices at £10 a ticket everyone would have been sticking the boot in saying it's too expensive So well done BFC for trying unfortunately our fans would rather slag the competition off and stay at home watching SSN Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Isn't great but still 3 days left and sold one thousand today so 9 thousand is still realistic. People couldn't moan enough when it was 20 quid against everton now it's a 5er people don't want it. Bfc board can't win good effort though
Suppose you could argue that Fleetwood don't have the same attraction as Everton. Doesn't matter to me who we are playing. I have my ticket. I was always going. It took me less than two minutes to buy my own seat, pay the £5 and then print out the ticket. No hardships really, are there? What will be interesting is the attitude of those "couldn't care lessers" when we get to the Wembley final. Are they REALLY going to pass on a chance to visit the national stadium with a chance of us realistically winning there for the first time? Some will, of course, but plenty won't. The "faithful 35,000" will then magically reappear, as if they have never been away. Ok, maybe that's optimistic but I doubt we would sell less than 25,000.
Think we'll get an average league gate. Never expected anymore or any less. Still think we'll get that.
So that proves the point that ticket prices are not the factor in people not attending Even season ticket holders pay nearly treble the price of Saturday's game per game Anything less than 10,000 is very disappointing IMO This is the second time this season the club have put a promotion on tickets and twice the fans have let them down So my message to BFC is keep the prices as they are because it makes no difference Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tin pot trophy and won't even go to Wembley. Just thought I would save the effort of a few others. I have my ticket, I will go to Wembley if we get there. I like to watch football, support my team and especially with a chance of a trophy. Why else do we support BFC? If it's only to watch the highest league and major competition successes then your supporting the wrong team.
I think we will take around 25 k to Wembley if we get there that is. Your right Fleetwood don't have the same pulling power as everton and it's only the jpt but it's the best chance we have of seeing the reds play at Wembley for many years so for a fiver people should get down oakwell and get behind em
We're getting 8,200 to 8,400 for league games. Do you really think we're going to get more than that for what is still an unattractive fixture?
