I like midfields like him. Compact midfielder. I'm a fan of Alex Song and Tiote because they are similar types. Never got a chance at Barnsley but other clubs liked him. Wolves especially liked him.
Im sure hause played against bfc last season... Regardless... jackett had he opportunity to play youngsters as he had a solid foundation in his team of senior pros whove proved they have a bit about them. There in lies the difference.
Thankfully though, he didn't keep picking em. He gave Bree, Smith, Davies and Holgate their opportunities as well as the likes of Scowen, Hourihane and Winnall. Made the club £2m by picking Holgate. Shame that Bree and Smith aren't as fancied by LJ but Scowen, Hourihane and Winnall remain valuable assets, three of our best players. He's not perfect, Danny Wilson. He failed here last time, results wise. The club thought parting ways was for the best. But he made some great signings (the ones I've mentioned), gave youngsters their debuts and also signed some highly rated players who had attitude problems (Lita, Treacy, Brown, Frimpong). It's not an exact science. Started well enough at Chesterfield though. 7-1 victory. And signing Nana (who you loved).
You mean like he stuck with Bree & Holgate? I liked Brad Abbott & I'd like to see him get a chance again after a good spell out on loan but after two promising games his next 3 weren't up to scratch. That's understandable he was a kid. It was a no brainer to bring his new summer signing in when he got fit. I'm not sure what your point is about the Indian League. It's not like he's there because it's the best level he can play at. He's gone there for the money, there's loads gone from England over there
I don't really get your point. Brown, Lita & Treacy also like Abbott got dropped early on in the season. Bree replaced Brown early doors. Coke played with Winnall up front instead of Lita. Treacy got dropped too & Wilson went with Berry wide right because his two key wingers couldn't be arsed to get fit. Turnbull was the only one he kept picking. I can only assume that was because he felt Davies wasn't ready or he felt we needed Turnbull's experience in a team of mainly kids. It feels like there's some sort of agenda from you towards Wilson.
This is an interesting exchange. In the sense that it reminds you that each donkey was replaced by an ass. Then a jackass.
Wilson could have just not brought brown lita treacy turnbull and the rest in in the 1st place. Also we haven't recived 2 million for holgate probley 500k and the rest was in installments
No 500k the rest of the figure is future incentives for example so many everton premiership appearances ect. Also Wilson did give him his chance but if we hadn't had injuries I doubt he would have got a look in. Mason then made the position his own.
