Brilliant when the Man Utd fans stood and applauded Depay for actually having a shot...LVG..Borrowed Time?
Not seen it because I was driving but radio sheffield spent the whole game criticising man u and praising sheff u. They said it wasn't a pen and then said Rooney should be embarrassed to celebrate the goal cos he's on 200 grand a week he should have just walked back to halfway line.
What im amazed about is how LVG has the CV he has? Because it doesnt look a case like Mourinho this season where there was obviously something not quite right, this is exactly how LVG wants his team to be Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Can't see LVG lasting much longer. Mind you I have said the same about Mr Johnson on one or two occasions
Daft thing is Sheff Utd will get plaudits for their performance who for me didn't give it a go and just defended for 89 minutes
But they took 8,500 you know Still 11,500 short of the 20,000 some bloke on fb reckoned they were taking Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
But at the same time that would have been best game plan for most teams, at least for the majority of the game; sit back, leave man utd passing around aimlessly struggling for ideas whilst fans get on their backs then try Nick it at the end. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
You have to give more credit to Donnie though who went out to Stoke and really gave it a go. Same result but much respect.
They went with the right game plan. Man Utd play a lot like we did before Hammill signed. Slow build up, no players stretching the opposition. Against that sort of side you soak it up & counter attack as we saw on many occasions against Crewe, Shrewbury & a few others. I was saying to my mate they've a decent chance of a replay because Man Utd don't take risks & they nearly got it. The radio Sheffield guy made me laugh. He said that Wayne Rooney was embarrassing for celebrating the winner because they'd not played well. That's possibly one of the stupidest things I've heard a commentator say. If you aren't celebrating an injury time winner I'd suggest your hearts not in the game. He also admitted that the penalty was the right decision but then said the referee should've been brave & not given it. Not sure what's brave about making a bad decision. Stupid doesn't do this guy justice. Anyone know his name?
"He also admitted that the penalty was the right decision but then said the referee should've been brave & not given it. Not sure what's brave about making a bad decision." How strange! Mr Rooney doesn't appear to be the sharpest of tools in the draw
I guess the Radio Sheff guy will also criticise Sheff Utd for clapping their fans when they didn't really go at em and then lost. I guess its the usual Radio Sheff bias. I thought it strange when 'hard work' was their only reason to celebrate. I think Exeter and Wycombe, worked hard but also showed some attacking desire too.
I don't think Rooney's as thick as you think...Working class background, grew up in a council house...If He wasn't a Pro Footballer, He would probably be playing non league or for a pub team...As for being bright...just read some of the stuff on here!
