Do you not remember the side that contained Ghent, Donovan, Alex Neil, O'Callaghan, Gibbs, Betsy and Gary Jones?

Then in recent years we've had to watch Wiseman, Kennedy and McNulty.

I agree this team's bad, but with such likeable players like Hourihane, Hammill and Winnall, it's not the worst ever. Not even close.

Key word is TEAM we may have good players such as hourihane and Hammill. But we certainly don't have a TEAM

They were terrible players but this lot (not all of them) compare due to us being in the third division. As a team this is as bad as we've had for many years.

Its a poor team because they have no coaching or play with any tactics

On paper I would say i've seen worse. But given our league position, I can understand why people are saying it. This is the lowest league position a lot of fans will have seen us at, so it's kinda logical.

That just isn't true though, is it. Of course they have coaching and play with tactics.

Really, well if he's coaching them and sending them out with those tactics he is even more incompetent than I gave him credit for

Danny Wilsons side last season was worse than this one.

Really? Weren't we higher up in the league under Wilson or did I misread the table?

when you say 'those tactics', did you have any particular tactics in mind. or just generic tactics?

the fans have been baying for 4-4-2. he finally got that into a workable stable team and we won twice, scoring 6 goals in the process. he tried to continue that against fleetwood, but we lost ben pearson and marley watkins. both key players in those two games. replaced by brad abbott (trained with the first team for 4 weeks) and ryan williams (hardly kicked a ball in 12 months)

what would you have done differently?

We became a better side as soon as Hammill signed.

    We were worse before.

McNulty? If he was with us now he'd be our best centre back

I also find it hard to put Wiseman in that bracket simply because he was very good in that run under Flitcroft.

I completely agree. We have some terrific players for the level we are at but as a team they are often very poor.

    Correct Mario.

Some good lakers who would benefit hugely by the guidance of a manager who has a clue'

LJ is out of his depth.

Might fare well in a Next catalogue but as a football manager he makes it up as he goes along!!!!

Behave. They were never bottom of the league, never lost nine games on the spin and didn't get knocked out of the cup by a conference side.

Very true Conan but the dire displays were on par with some of the carp witnessed this season

Donny away under danny was truly abysmal....the worst I have witnessed in recent memory.

However....the results in general are far worse under Mr Johnson......any other manager would have been sacked but not this one due to mates rates so to speak.

Hammill has got us out of relegation spots and we have some good other players too.....but Mr J is clueless and continues to be so......Worst ever TEAM label is justified imo.

The guy talks ****** and delivers nothing much at all.... someone else I could mention currently employed at the well talks well everytime but delivers the same as his pal.

continued struggle is my prediction for the rest of the season at least

We have Hammill and White now. Hourihane is a much better player than last season. We defintely look a better side. The football we played under Danny Wilson was some of the worst I've ever seen.

Since Hammill came in we've looked a good attacking side.

Danny Wilson acquired a poor points tally of 35 points from 29 games and we were looking like hitting a shocking run.

Give Johnson the same amount of games and if he hits 40 points with momentum building we're not looking too bad at all.
