Its got to have been David Lucas in nets. Mounir el Haimour as captain. Then Frimpong, Ranger and Leon Knight. Tommy Wright and Rigters. Keith Hill as manager.
Any team with Tom Kennedy in it. Worst professional footballer I've ever had the misfortune to watch. Notable mentions to: Rigters Mike Flynn Dwyane Mattis Mike Turner Tony Bedeau Ian Woan (when he played for us) To be honest. Far, far too many more to mention.
worst TEAM - current lot worst players....too many to mention em all but here is eleven for ya 1. Townsend 2. John Lathan 3. Phil Gridelet 4. Krizan 5. Digby 6. Ray McHale 7. Mido 8. Leroy Lita 9. Frank Nouble 10.Dave Regis 11.Peter Price Manager: Mr Johnson first eleven I could remember....sure there are a lot more
The worst Barnsley team I've seen was earlier this season. We've had much worse players in other teams, but their inadequacies have been masked some what by the better players in those respective teams. This season we had no experience, the confidence of the young lads hit rock bottom and with no one out on the pitch to lift spirits we just got worse and worse, culminating in 8 league defeats in a row. It was awful. But things have changed a lot since then. Adam Hammill was the catalyst. Even if he didn't say a word, his presence out on the pitch and his ability to score or create a goal from nothing has lifted everyone at the club. But he does talk and he does gee 'em up. He's been a fantastic signing. The majority of the players have responded and we're playing much better than we were a few months ago. We've won 6 of the last 11 games, losing just 3. We're nowhere near the worst Barnsley team we've had right now. We didn't play very well on Saturday, but the overreaction there's been on here is ridiculous. It was a cup tie, we got a draw and we've still every chance of getting to Wembley. I don't think enough credit was given to Fleetwood, who, in the first half, completely out battled us. Second half we stepped up, gave as good as we got and forced the draw without ever producing what they're capable of. The worst Barnsley team we've had couldn't do that.
Martin Taylor worst keeper ever to play for us, Parkin got to be worst manager we've had in my time watching the reds
Vito mannone Carl Regan Brian O'Callaghan Keith Brown Mateo Corbo Kevin Donovan Richard Kell Jan Molby Mounir El Haimour Fola Onibuje Miguel mostto Subs Ben Alnwick Ian Woan Scott Wiseman Tommy Wright Emmanuel Frimpong Onome Sodje Jim McNulty
Jan Molby was twenty stone overweight (ok slight exaggeration there!) and too old but had more talent in his little toe than the rest of those clowns put together. Ridiculous to suggest he is in worst eleven....and we wonder why the management complain that fans know fek all sometimes. hth
Martin Taylor Scott Wiseman Mike Flynn Keith Brown Tom Kennedy - how this man is a professional footballer is beyond me. Kevin Donovan Dwyane Mattis Gary Jones Peter Sand Willi Ferry Dave Regis manager: nigel spackman
The 1971/72 squad relegated to the old Fourth Division and managed by the worst Barnsley manager I've ever seen, John McSeveney.
How lee crooks managed to masquerade as a footballer is beyond me he'd be in my worst team without a shadow
Mannone Crookes Coatsworth Hedworth Kennedy Frimpong Gary Jones Brek Shea Ferry Regis Pearson Legendary. Manager Spackman. Head Coach Lee Johnson.
I find it bizarre that anyone can put McNulty near this. Mawson's far worse than him & playing at a lower level than McNulty did.
Re: Reyt. Worst Barnsley Team youve seen -Ray McHale!!!!! Ray McHale, without him the likes of Glavin & Banks couldn't have played the way they did. He was a key part of that team, no way should he be in the worst team ever!!!
