Being a Barnsley fan is something that is passed onto you by generation! We are all diverse in opinions and beliefs but one thing that should unite us in all of this, is our love for Barnsley Football Club. It gets to me how any fan can in someway hope that our team loses so it raises the chances of sacking the manager but if you read some posts on here this is fact! Be critical, unearth differences of opinion and decision making by the manager but I would rather not read rubbish about a bloke that has spent millions saving our club, he has earned any right to make mistakes but one thing I do know about Mr Cryne...is that he is a true Barnsley fan who cares about the club and probably too much about the people who support it.
I would vote to keep Mr Cryne but I don't feel that the poll is required as without him we wouldn't be having these discussions.
That lady from Carlisle who they interviewed following her journey to Blackpool to watch her team play at home v Yeovil..."I don't care where we play, I come to watch my team, my town...no matter what tries to stop us!" That is what supporting your team!

    You Reds!

You correct but you appear happy for the good ship Barnsley to meander along in the lower leagues for the forseeable future by retaining his services.

    As is your right.

    I want more than that.

I agree that the longer serving fans want loyalty but like it or not things have changed .
I had a season ticket for many years but the stuffing was knocked out of me by Mr Hill so i did not buy again. This season i bit the bullet and got tickets for my 2 lads as well as myself. Unfortunately my lads got fed up of going to watch us lose and i have not gone and will not go until LJ and the ego of Mr Mansford has gone as well.
My 2 lads have been going with my Brother in Law to watch The Owls for the last 8 games and they come back with a smile on there face.
As much as i hate to admit it .. they are the future and if there is nothing there for my lads at 7 and 10 years of age then there is no future for the future Barnsley fan base.

A sad state of affairs but 100% true.

Once the Die Hards have all gone where will the club be then ?

    A scary thought.
