Josh Brownhill Joins The Reds - More from the official site... 14-01-2016 01:54 PM <a href="http://wall.barnsleyfc.co.uk/Event/Barnsley"></a>
All well and good, and I hope he does well for us. However, it's yet another 28 day youth loan and we're now halfway through the transfer window with very little in the way of the permanent, experienced signings we were led to believe would be coming. I starting to get seriously worried now that we're just continuing the same idiotic transfer policy that's seen us scrambling to avoid the relegation places for most of the season.
True, and your post has brought out the cynic in me. Maybe the board have accepted relegation. When it happens, suddenly we will be in a position to afford permanent signings (journeymen, lower leaguers, has-beens and never-weres) and they can use that as a stick to beat us with when chasing us for season ticket money. "You asked for permanent signings, we've obliged, now send us yer cheque"
Absolutely bonkers. He will bring nothing to Barnsley in 28 days. Our team is made up of loan wonders but does nothing for stability. If this kid scores say 4 goals and then goes back, what good is that. The club is fukced
The club have had long enough to use their resources to get an experienced centre midfielder. It is by far the most crucial required player we need, as I think Jay said, fail in this area and we are going to struggle big time. Mawson cannot be used in centre mid (Coventry over ran us), Abbott another boy in a mans world. Come on get that loan book out, just until scowen gets back.
