Good luck to him. Made alot of effort to play for us such as his trial going on for ages instead of leaving for elsewhere. Didn't get the chances he deserved for us. Should have got starts during our winless run where goals were just not happening whilst Hourihane was out injured. Blackburn obviously see in him what many of our fans did and i'm sure he will knock in goals for them.

There was obviously some sort of 'pay as you play' clause in his contract for us hence why he never got a game.

Remember last time we were in this league we had an arrangements to pay an additional fee if Isaiah Rankine played more than X number of games. Isaiah saved us from relegation that year.

Words fail me, if you look at all the players that Johnson rejected it shows he knows bugger all about football. I wouldn't let him run a under 10 bunch of kids.

Are they still under a transfer ban?

Maybe they signed him because he's a free and they need bodies?

He went there as soon as we released him, to train, keep fit etc with a manager he knows well. I'm assuming he's done enough to earn a deal. Good luck to him. I only saw him a handful of times and each time left wondering why he'd not got longer that particular game or why he wasn't getting a start.

More likely that the deal was set up prior to his contract expiring otherwise why not continue to train with us until he found a new club

After watching Johnson make players all over the pitch worse and worse hed have probably preferred to train with ched evans than Barnsley by the end

When Simeon Jackson starts playing for Blackburn on a regular basis and banging the goals in, you can all feel free to go bat-**** mental like many users of this forum do about everything. Until then, it doesn't hurt to keep your powder dry. Then, the point you make is relevant rather than just hot air. And you don't end up looking like a lovely person. You'd think it would be an easy lesson to learn. Apparently not.
