He's invented a new word - 'ploffs'. He's talking about Ipswich's style of play; "it's effective and it's got them in the ploffs". The man is pushing human boundaries.
This is the best bit: McCarthy said: “He can talk can’t he? He certainly gives his jaw some exercise... I don’t know what else". Steve Evans is a horrible character and I'm sure Mick isn't the only one in the game who knows that. Counting the days to when he finally comes back home to manage BFC. Could be a while yet, but I think he will.
He's upsetting wrong on there. Tarn lads don't take no slather from anyone no matter how big they are
Hope not. My all time hero. If he was given the same kind of abuse as Wilson and Johnson have received on here I'd have to kill somebody.
Unlike Johnson, McCarthy doesnt butter up the fans by talking absolute ******** and lose 9 league one games on the trot playing absolutely dismal football. We all know deep down Wilson was truely woeful second time around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No we don't. Back to the original point, Evans is an odious piece of work; quite possibly the most odious man in football.
So you dont believe that the football and results were completely awful upto his dismissal? That much is as close to fact as it can be without actually being so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No, I believe we'd had some bad results but we were hindered by injuries. Somebody will correct me if I'm wrong but I think we'd only lost two of his last six games. He never lost nine on the bounce and in my opinion the dross LJ has served up at times has been worse than any game under Danny.
Oh I fully agree LJ had took us to depths I'd never even imagined were possible but that doesnt mean Wilson was good enough either. Of the two I'd much rather we kept Wilson but he wasnt much better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No, I only come on here to slate LJ and sometimes Wilson too. I miss the days I used to severely dislike Hourihane, least I had something else to rant on about then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
For me last season was a season of stability and transition and I know a lot on here don't share my opinion on this but I'm convinced that we'd be top six this season if we'd kept Danny. LJ has been a disaster ever since the very short honeymoon period ended.
LJ has been a disaster including those 4 wins at the beginning. They were 4 extremely poor teams and the performances were terrible even if we did get the points. As for Wilson, I just dont see anything from the performances under him to believe we would have improved at all, we definitely needed a change (I wouldnt have considered him for the job in the first place) but unfortunately we replaced a poor manager with an absolutely bottom of the barrel one.
