Digby is not good enough. He's hasn't been for a while. It's his body that had let him down more than his ability as a footballer. But either way now he is not good enough. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
I appreciate you're probably on the wind up but just in case, when at any point on the pitch has he shown he's the most talented player at the club?
His debut Doncaster away His brief appearance against Rochdale His appearance this season where people blame for a defeat but hourihane killed him with a hospital ball Not only is he the best he's a best by miles
Doncaster away when we drew 2-2? The game where he broke forward 40 yard in acres of space and then **** himself when he hit the 18 yard line? Chance wasted. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
You mean the end of season dead rubber where he played 13 minutes against 10 men who were already losing? I think this sums up Digby as a central midfielder. He's unquestionably got some talent, and would shine in friendlies/walking football. But in a full speed league match he's consistently looked like he's not quick enough with his feet and/or brain to keep up. Time and time again he gets pressed on the defensive edge of the centre circle and loses the ball. I have said we should try playing him at CB and I hope it works for him at Ipswich in that position, because as a central midfielder it looks like he's operating at 3/4 the speed of the other players on the pitch.
Target man. Or Goalie to save all the pelters he's getting. Would be nice to get a report on his performance last night. There were numerous reviews out after his first performance mostly critical, but all a bit quiet after last night. Strange but maybe he played ok.
