    Sam is superb at the moment isn't he. i hope other clubs wont be sniffing round him for the rest of the week.

    Sounds like him and Watkins have a good relationship going. Winnall just needs service, get the ball in front of him and he's a different player.

    With 15 goals under his belt Winnall must be one of the top scorers in League 1 surely? Anyone know where he ranks now?

    Lets hope he's still around next weekend....Be sides in the championship that don't have millions to spend and that have been goal shy lately that will have noticed the form Sam has been in, so it wouldn't be a shock to see at least one bid for him in the next seven days. Good scoring record at league two level and again at league one. A fair few good players from an higher level played in this league not long since and had a punt taken on them. Lets hope contract negotiations are opening with him sooner rather than later.

    Good point. A bid of £1m & the board would be tempted. I think we'd be foolish though. If we are really about anything we need him. Fletcher is in a different class. Top player, makes Marley look like a sunday league player (& Marley has been doing OK).

    Not sure which clubs at championship level would take a punt. Huddersfield have 9 million from selling Buttercup, Smithies and Coady and maybe a 20% sell on clause from any profit if Rhodes is sold by Blackburn, but Dean Hoyle likes pocketing the transfer wonga. James Vaughan might be off permanently to Birmingham so they would need a replacement for him to go alongside Nakki Wells.

    Thanks TTTF. Reason I was asking is that on one page of the BBC's website they've got Winnall down as joint second with 14 goals. On another they're showing him with 15.

    The BFC website shows him having 12 and it's obviously not been updated after today's match, so I'm thinking he's currently clear second.

    Can any stato's out there confirm?

    Correct. Winnall and Billy Sharp have the same number of league goals but Winnall also has a cup goal. Also 4 of Sharps goals have come from the penalty spot while none of Sam's have
