Do we have any prospect of signing him up? To me, he's really glued this defence together and is allowing Alfie to develop his potential. Bree, Mawson, Long, White would look a hell of a back row to go into next season with.

I doubt we'd get him on a permenant deal. Even if Burnley did decide to sell, chances are a Championship club would take a punt on him sadly.

Would be good to see him here until the end of the season though. As you say, that back four is as good as any in this division.

How do you make that out I think gillingham and burton,Walsall as well would have some thing to say about that.

If that's a question aimed at my post, I said 'as good as' not 'better than'. That back four has balance, height, strength, speed and can attack as well as defend. Just in my opinion of course.

Whilst individually they're all great players, we still leak far too many goals sadly. We slowly seem to be heading in the right direction mind. Gone down to 1 a game rather than 2. But we still make far too many errors at the back.

To be perfectly honest I'm not sure what the problem is anymore.

That was Long's best performance for me yesterday.

Long as signed till the end of the month (transfer window).. id guess that suits Long and Burnley. I think they (and us) will be waiting to see if an offer comes in for a transfer or even a better loan, where the club pays a larger percentage of his wages than we will

If he does go, then that is why Bikey is here... just incase

If no other club comes in , or better deal offered.. then id expect to see Long sign, on loan till the end of the season
