Is Manny Road Club starting up again but can't think of a good name? Surely a dunday league club can't sign a pro footballer! Lol

Always gunna happen im afraid... If we wanted to sell, now is the prime time really. 18 month left, so not being blackmailed, and bang in form.

Could be a interesting few days..

Edit.. If SSW was to go, then the lad from Exeter would be a decent replacement..

    Don't sell Winall.... Sammy Winnall

If I was in charge of contracts, I'd be getting him in tonight & signing him up for another 2 years . Can't really lose. Improve his terms. Worst case scenario is he gets a career ending injury. Otherwise we have him for 2 years to build a team around. Or the price for a would-be buyer has just gone up.

I'll cry like a child if we flog Sam. Priceless to us, at this level.

Aye, well that's where we fall down every time. He's proved he's worth it. Invest in the ones that might take us somewhere. I did say "If I was in charge of contracts"

Doesn't surprise me at all. £1.5 to £2 million and i'd be happy with letting him go and wish him well.

Conor Washington just went for 2.8. That should be the minimum we accept

I think if a team near the top of the Champ came in with a £2 million bid, then that would be that.

If Washington is worth £2.8 million, I'd want at least £3 million.

Unnamed club? Never heard of em.

And here are the Championship results:

    QPR 1-1 Wolves
    3-0 Ipswich
    Bolton 3-1 MK Dons
    Brighton 2-1 Huddersfield
    Cardiff 2-2 Rotherham

Oh, there they are, beat Ipswich 3-0. They must be ****-hot.

Think we all would... but history would suggest the we capitulate long before Peterboro on the transfer front .

Noises from LJ is that he will be sold if we get an offer in excess of what Peterboro got for CW. In fairness, that's our business model now and you couldn't argue with that sort of money. Buy a replacement for £500k from lower leagues and/or use the money to sign hammill up for another 2 years.

I understand if we did sell, money talks and all that. However, if it's less than 2 million, we may as well pack up and go home. BFC please play hard ball this time or you will never be forgiven by me.

I would ask for the same as Washington especially if more than 1 club involved but would prefer we offer a new 3 year deal myself. He has earned it.

There always been interest in him. If that has now escalated to a bid then that's news.
Think I posted a few days ago that there was interest in November (from a good source).
If you were letting your imagination run riot, you would be putting the Maynard rumour together with this one and ..................

Agree 100%.. I know some folk don't like to here that. But to get too attached to ANY player in such a transient industry, is not clever really..

Top player at this level and we really shouldn't be looking to sell BUT a bid of 2-3 million would tempt the board no doubt. And could we really complain if that was reinvested in the squad? A new striker, Long in permenantly, Hammill, White, Hourihane and Scowan on longer contracts would certainly ease the blow.

Get real people, a bid of £1million will have the board creaming their pants.
I have no confidence in them regarding player sales.
I hope they prove me wrong but I just can't see it.
