I don't necessarily disagree with your choice to relocate away from Barnsley - but having seen what pretty much the rest of the world (with the notable exception of Dubai) has to offer I can conclude for me that Barnsley isnt' half bad! I've given moving away a go myself but the pull back was too strong -

However for someone who seems to look down on the place so much you do seem to spend an inordinate amount of time talking to folk on this board rather than enjoying all the things that Dubai has to offer. What's that all about.

I get the guys who come on here just to check the football stuff - that's understandable.

But I really struggle to square the circle of someone who says how wonderful it is elsewhere but then is a seemingly constant feature in the none football threads on a message board from a place he thinks is ****. What am I missing.

 

Good message Carley, what's missing is that it appears I became a target by certain individuals who think that Dubai is an evil place and only evil people chose to live and work there. So I naturally retaliate. In reality ex-pats go to work in places that they can make good money and put some of it away for the future. This includes much hardship in places like Kinshasa, Maputo and the likes where I personally have worked, in Dubai it's the intolerable heat, but the tax free bit counters this. We don't have medical aid or pension waiting for us unless we make provision for it. Anyway as I said I will retaliate against bigots who just try to make trouble on here for no reason other than mischievousness and show the rest what they are really like.

 

I don't think anyone should be decried for moving away and improving their lot- nor should anyone who lives in Britain who wants a fairer society for all who live there/here- regardless of ethnicity/country of origin or any other characteristic it's possible to pigeon hole people with.

Why can't we all just get along??
