probably a lot more sense in that than sam winnall going. i'd like to think he'd show some loyalty until at least the end of the season.

Really interesting to see if he's offered it and if he wants to repay loyalty shown by the club during the bad form. Had he been sacked at the end of that losing streak he'd have been struggling to find a job anywhere near league 1 never mind championship.

    Those odds been absolutely nothing.

They don't even give the slightest indication.

Well, Lee Johnson was big favourite for our job, with SkyBet, prior to getting it. So they can be an indication of sorts. But of course, all they are, are odds. Determined by people placing bets. And some people might know things. Again, a potential indicator.

So in response, yes these odds do mean something.

It might be the best thing to happen to us if he left.

I don't see Bristol City being that stupid, though.

how? derailed again? starting again, again? it would pi$$ me off massively, actually. a club who sticks by him when most wouldn't, then lets him go as soon as we start to pick up. meanwhile, a manager who was backed to the hilt when others would have been sacked, then jumps when the first offer comes in. it would be $hit all round, IMO..

    I just don't think he's that good.

He's not Nigel Spackman, but his tenure has been a disgrace in my view. The fact we've picked up recently doesn't make me forget deservedly losing to Altrincham. Doesn't make me forget that most of this season has been eye-bleedingly bad, losing to Crewe and Fleetwood at home during the worst run since the 1950s.

I'm not Doctor Zazlos, but my view chimes with his. If Bristol City took him, it'd be a great outcome.

Young manager who has took us on two good winning runs and one bad losing run I suppose. Has a very good win ratio be careful what you wish for.

It wouldn't be the end of the world, I think we have some good options within the club now, to pick up the baton. Mark Cooper is still out of work too, a candidate himself in February last year. Take your pick. However, I would be disappointed as I really like Lee.

Most of us felt he should have gone at some point during that awful run, but surely most of us would now be disappointed, no?

1 bad losing run ? 9 games without a win at end of last season and 8 defeats on trot this season. He wouldn't be a loss if he left. If he's offered job he'll be off

I'd be disappointed in the sense that it would be a dickish thing for him to do after we stuck by him when he definitely deserved to be sacked.

I'd not be disappointed in the sense that: oh, he was good, and we can't possibly get anyone remotely as able in his place.

Personally, I'd be after Chris Wilder.

I don't want him to go but I agree with what Whitey says we have some good candidates within the club as replacements. 9 games without a win an 8 on bounce and still has a 40% win ratio.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Fan favourite and all that. And I'd expect him to take it if he had any sniff too. In fact, I would expect he's had his agent throw his name in too.

Depends, they'd have to give a fee to get him, like a transfer, so that could be a bonus, on the downside we then have to look for another manager where after 6 months we all want him sacked. Such is life at Barnsley FC
