Slight moans about Player commentary

Haven't had to listen to it for a bit, as been to the last 8 games.

His commentary is very professional for this level of broadcasting.

I know this is going out on Dee Dar FM, but could we still sack him & get "our guys" back. He's far too neutral.

I actually prefer him mate. Nowt against the other 2 but partisan punditry does not appeal to me as I prefer to have an unbiased approach. Each to their own.

 

Surely it's better to have someone say it how it is rather than take a biassed sugar coated approach.

I think Adam Oxley does a good job.

We were sacked for being good at our job and RS got paranoid about losing listeners!

What does tha reckon was one of the reasons they ditched us?

RS will never care about our team the way Adam Brammer & myself did and the club don't care about the majority of their subscribers so long as they're making a few extra pennies.

Bring back the Oakwell 2. It's a disgrace how those lads were treated. DeeDar commentary is crap. It's that bad, I might have to start going to matches.

Will always defend our corner when the likes of Archie or whatever they call him come on here spouting bollax. I grafted my nuts off for that club and I know for certain the commentary was as good as possible in the circumstances we worked in.

 

Blunts.

 

Well as a user, I am getting more for my buck now than I was before. The constant loss of commentary was such a nuisance it was enough for me to consider cancelling. Something had to be done to improve a very poor service commentary wise (and this is nowt to do with who does the speaking by the way) . I can put up with RS switching from time to time because all in all I think I am being served better than I was. Nothing personal by the way.

 

I don't understand why he can't get a former player to summarise now and again

Club couldn't give a damn when we did it. RS will always have preferential treatment from clubs and better tech equipment. That doesn't mean the commentary is of a better standard though.

 

Ha. My gripe is not with Adam who does a great job, but with the way BFC & RS colluded together and treated Adam B & myself with contempt and never even thanked us for our services.

 

You were the best. Not too biased, but interested in the club. This guy doesn't give a flying f@@k about BFC.

 

Really miss your commentary. Losing you lads directly contributed to me not using player anymore.

 

Adam is the Vanilla Ice to Matt & Adam's Eric B & Rakim. End of story.

Can you imagine the reaction to Winnall's 89th minute winner, were Matt and Adam still rightfully employed by the club? It would have been beautiful. I miss them. Nowt against the Ox, he's a sound lad for a deedar and his comms are decent. But I preferred our unique comms. No ********, no spin, just two reds supporters telling it how it is/was.

I had to listen to a few minutes of Wednesday comm today, I felt violated.
