Plymouth and Wycombe fans will have felt the same when we pinched their players . We are bigger fish compared to those teams

and Leeds , wolves etc are bigger than Barnsley

It's football and I don't blame winnall for leaving or BFC selling

We need the money and winnall deserves to play in an higher league

All I want is a decent sale money wise
    1.5 would be fair

I agree with that just don't want to lose his goals 1.5 million would give us around 1 million profit but based on what Connor Washington went for we should be looking more 2million

£2m up front. Plus add ons for goals/apps/ sell on.

Any less and we're being shafted and losing a quality striker.

Sammy will stay. He's a red. I hope!!

    2.8m is the benchmark.

Not worth selling for that a trip to Wembley in jpt would be worth a good portion of that not to mention we are 5 points off the play offs 1 million would make no sense

Possibly right. We don't balance the books though do we?

I really can't see the club turning an offer of a million down. I'd love to see us keep our best players but history suggests we will sell for less than what we value any player at.

We've sold a lot better than Winnall for (in relation) a lot less.

Regardless of when, or if Winnall leaves the fee will be undisclosed.

We don't need the money enough to sell Sam for £1.5m in my opinion. If we do it just shows the true level of ambition in the boardroom.

Problem with having a chairman who wants to sell up . Much easier to sell when you a are in a better financial position

    1.5 good business imo

    Course we do

We have a 24,000 seater stadium with 8000 fans most weeks

Then the running of the academy

Sorry to bust your bubble but we are selling club and we rely on these transfers to keep us ticking by

I didn't realise we were still losing money.

What with all the loans and young squad. Having a top 6 budget and all that

The only bubble that will burst is the board if they capitulate again

on a purely hypothetical basis what would we bring in if Sam fires us to Promotion via the playoffs and winning the JPT in turn he also ends the season as league 1 top scorer, i'm pretty sure the money that could bring in would outweigh selling Sam now for £1 mil or whatever it may be plus it will also undoubtedly add more value on to Sam's price tag for us to cash in on if we choose to in the summer. Surely the club can see this and having sold our best/in form players before in January and how it derailed our progress as a team and a club they'd be foolish to do it again when things are running so well at the present time.

Not many teams in league 1 won't be losing money

    Posh excluded

What do we need the money for? To buy a goal scoring striker that might potentially get us play offs? We already have one of those

"Of course not all Posh signings work out and money from the sale of players has to be ploughed back into the general running of the club. Posh reported losses of £1.9 million in the year ending June 2015."

    Stated the reasons above

If you honestly think we will sign a 1 million pound striker with the money you are in for a shock

Yes thats exactly my point, why completely ruin our season and teams morale at this point for a million when we could potentially get far more than that keeping him between the cup run and play offs?

Its not like he won't still be here in the summer to cash in should it go wrong.
