Is it me or is George Riley a smarmy little d ick trying to be awkward with LJ?

I know he's a Leeds fan but he came across as an odious little t wat

Because that's what happens to lower league clubs like ourselves

He could get injured in 2 weeks and rule him out for 12 months

Then we have lost 1 million pound player and no player to show for it

Wycombe will have thought the same when they sold us Manson and scowen

Conor was captain at Plymouth and picked us over them

Aye perhaps youre right with the injury thing, but at some point you've got to gamble. Its my opinion if the players not keen to leave we should for once try to make some real progress and keep him at least til the end of the season.

On the same token. He might not get injured. He might bang in another 15.

His value increases more and we make a killing getting promoted via the play offs and win the jpt.

We then have a striker likely to do ok in the championship.

All ifs and buts. But we can't keep resorting to short termism and panic and sell at the first sign of money.

It's why we are where we are.

I fully agree with the policy of buying players to develop and sell at a profit. It's the only way we can compete with other clubs who are bankrolled by multi millionaire chairmen.
However, we need to sell at the right time not the first time of asking. Now is not the right time. What's the difference in budget between league one and the championship? 5 million? We'd need to sell four Sam Winnalls to make that difference up.

I wish we did this but don't see it happening

I'd love him here until end of the season

It's not having time to replace him with anybody that worries me

    I agree.

This could prove if we have changed.

This seems to be firmly in our hands for once.

Let's see what happens in next couple of days.

Hopefully we are smiling when the window closes.
