Heard a few say we dont need another striker. An injury to either of Sam or Marley and we're looking very short again. Fleetwood showed that. If Harry White or Brad Ash are ready now then we might get away with it. However LJ said after the game on Saturday he didnt feel he could bring White or Kahn on in the circumstances. For me that indicates hes a must. Tom Nichols is set to leave according to Paul Tisdale. I'd like to see him here. Other than that keeping our better players is a must. But from what I've been told we're in no danger of losing any of our better players.
Why ditch Nyatanga? If any of our current starters get crocked/don't extend their loan then we're a centre half light. We might not need a squad of 22 1st teamers, but we need some cover in all positions.
Because he's a top earner at the club and we cant afford him sat on the bench or in the stand. And obviously if we dont get Long he stays but thats just common sense.
Forgot to mention Brownhill. Would be nice to see a deal sorted for him today too. Danny is after a defender. Maybe he'll fancy Lewin.
