#barnsley fc boss LJ refused to rule himself out of the running for the #bcfc job. He added there's been no contact and was happy at club.

#barnsley fc boss LJ says Kevin Long was only going to stay for 3 months max as it was "part of Burnley's plan for him."

#barnsley fc boss LJ says they may consider another loan defender but Roberts and Nyatanga deserve another look.

#barnsley still has doubts over Hammill and White, but may decide to put them in because of the size of the game.

#barnsley fc boss LJ says Sam Winnall can fire the team in the championship. If not, they may have to make a decision on his future in June.

Am I the only one who seems fairly underwhelmed by most of that?

In his absence we've won 2 hard fought away games without conceding - just what is needed on Thursday - hope for everyone's sake that he's not rushed back in a panic to get to Wembley.

We need flair admittedly but I feel Thursday will be a battle.

Dont read much into the Bristol City comment. He told them on Saturday he didnt want to speak about it. He probably said it in the same way again.

Totley agree with that. The lad has shown integrity and honesty throughout. Just hope he's here long term as you can see what he's trying to build. This experience will Deffo have made him a better manager.

As far as Hammill and White are concerned, he is just keeping Pressley guessing.

Surprised at the reaction to tweets

Thought there would be an uproar on here when I saw them. Especially the quote about the Bristol job

"how dare he not rule himself out for the job" ... personally I don't mind... that's football, but I thought some others would go into cardiac arrest

Everyone has their price. If they offered him a £1m per year salary, I doubt he'd turn that down. Managers have to look out for themselves with an average tenure of less than one year.

Absolutely. And with 90% of the poll on here suggesting fans wanted him gone just a few weeks ago you can imagine he would be concerned by any future run of bad form that he would be treated similarly.

We as fans are very fickle - most of us now want him to stay! - so it only goes that he too should concern himself with the best oppotunity for himself. Besides he has a family to think about providing for the next 25 years.

Yes, its just mischief making by Radio Sheffield. They do a great service but they do tend to do that with Barnsley I find.

Correct. Just listened to the full interview. Tweets not necessarily reflecting the message.

He's already a millionaire so I wouldn't be too concerned with that...
