Interesting, either a very small book or they know something.

Just got a terrible feeling that we will put in a very impressive display for the cameras, and it convinces them at Bristol City to swoop for LeeJay.
I'm sure LeeJay's name will have been mentioned as a possible candidate by the hierarchy at Bristol City.

Hope he doesn't go and if he does will go down alot in my estimation of him. Pat stuck by him when things were bad and he has turned it around now shorely he should repay the faith shown by pat. But wouldn't suprise me if it happens and he goes. Have a word Adam tell him grass int always greener.

Bristol City fans still reckon it's John Pemberton's to lose.

If Johnson does go but we get to Wembley, a little higher quality of managers will apply because they'll want to manage at Wembley and win a trophy. We can replace Johnson comfortably.

Bristol City fans aren't keen on him at all.

Poll in the Bristol Post earlier today, only 4 out of 86 had voted for him!

As Twillo says, Pemberton was the fans favourite

If Johnson goes I think we should look within the club to replace him. Some good candidates already here.

I would imagine it's a very small book for prices to move so rapidly.

if he's been on here and seen some of the absolute fcukin bile that's been spouted about him over the last 3 months, and looks at a poll which until today was still on the site saying johnson out, who could blame him? i wouldn't. i've no doubt that will all be forgotten though, as people turn their attentions to the club owners for 'not doing enough to keep him', and johnson of course, for 'not showing loyalty'

He would be stupid to jump ship now and head down the M5. I wouldn't blame him if he did, seeing as there were so many against him until quite recently, but I really hope he doesn't. Ashton Gate is quite a nice prospect though and they get much bigger crowds than us (for now) so why wouldn't he consider it at least?

Best thing is for him to stick it out with us this season and see what happens. If he continues with the run of success but just falls short of promotion his stock will be very high. If Pemberton gets the job to the end of the season and they get relegated then they might come knocking for Lee Johnson. He could still stay with us and continue building his Field of Dreams. I get the impression that would suit him better than going back to an old club, and failing.

Chill out, Marc. Lee oversaw quite possibly the worst run in living memory, of course there was bile posted on an internet message board. It's the modern age. I didn't ever post such stuff myself, but I did once suggest it was time he went. And I criticised some of his decisions. That's what this place is all about, it's a place to let off steam. If people at the club read this forum (players, directors, owners, coaches) they should be prepared to read the good, the bad and the ******* ridiculous.

If they base decisions on the odd OTT post from a forum, they deserve everything they get.

This place can be a good sounding board for them, maybe. It's probably helpful in some regard, for directors especially, as it's free customer feedback. But the management shouldn't read forums in my opinion. Nor the players.

Every player I've ever asked has always said they don't read em. However, their families usually do. I can relate to that.

If Lee goes, he goes. Not ideal, but not the end of the world by any means. It's been average since last February.

If Lee stays, he stays. Good. I like him, I think the majority of supporters do, and we're only a year into his tenure with encouraging signs finally appearing.

Be rather stupid of him if he walked away because lots of fans wanted him sacked during our worst ever run as that wouldn't show much loyalty to our board who showed it to him.

Don't mind whether he goes or stays. He's a young ambitious guy with a family. Speaks well and is learning on the job with as many failures as successes.

He has done an up and down job here. Overseeing 2 good runs and 2 very bad ones including our worst run for 50 years and losing to a non league team in the cup. Winnall is irreplaceable to us. Lee Jay not s much.

    Onwards and upwards.

i'm perfectly chilled out. some of the stuff people have come out with on here, has been ridiculous. modern age or not. i think it's pi$$ funny, the idea that people who have been baying for his blood for months, are now saying they expect him to stay and show loyalty. just my opinion.

He wasn't sacked because it would have cost them 30 months wages.

    Bang on Andrew.

In any case, Johnno can't be that daft that he needed to come on here to see if supporters were unhappy after eight straight league defeats and getting knocked out of the cup by a conference side.
