I don't recall personal abuse directed at LJ. Understandably many fans wanted him sacked, or to resign, after losing 8 on the bounce. I don't think LJ owes the fans any more than the fans owe him, but LJ certainly owes Cryne a massive debt of gratitude and loyalty for sticking by him through it. Think on. There was a poll on here suggesting many wanted LJ sacked. There's been a poll in a Bristol paper where a tiny minority actually want him to get their job. What's the difference? Is anyone suggesting that LJ should have a chip on his shoulder towards BFC fans for wanting him out after the worst run of results in decades, whilst he would walk towards the arms of Bristol City fans who don't want him in the first place and who would no doubt be baying for his blood if they lost half as many consecutive games as he did here? LJ owes BFC a huge chunk of loyalty. He owes BFC fans **** all, other than to do the job he's paid to do to the best of his ability.
Calm down dear. I thought I could remember a few posts that went beyond acceptable, that's all. Tha'll mek me flounce art in a minute....
People are talking about loyalty to Cryne. I agree with that, but I also have no idea what conversations are happening. PC may give the move his full blessing for all we know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
An alternative take - if he does move there's a decent chance he ends up back in L1, needs to stabilise a team again etc. whereas if he stays he has a crack at a trophy, an outside chance of the playoffs and a decent platform to build on for next season. He should realise that the only thing he has achieved thus far is mid table L1 finishes, and JPT/playoffs would look a lot better on his CV than relegation. Having said that I think he'll go if he gets the chance.
I fully agree with you. Would love him to stay however I think he'll not think twice about it if Bristol ask for him. Fully understand it too. Regardless of the industry, majority would do the same.
Re: will we get any compensation if he goes ? He's 1 year into a three year contract. We'll be due a fair bit of compo. Appoint from within. Use his money to employ a dozen, scantily clad females to dance on the pitch at half time. Or for the full 90 minutes if we're playing ****.
Re: will we get any compensation if he goes ? Am I the only one that cringes at half time cheerleaders? Me pals inform me its a sure fire indication of my deeply ingrained homosexuality when I bring it up

Well he said yesterday he'd not been approached. http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/BRISTO...ached-Robins/story-28661956-detail/story.html

I have a feeling Lee will have a shower, a rub down by a burly man in a tracksuit and some serious oral sex with a young lady from Port Talbot after the game. Pure speculation on my part 2+2= 4,512
