If he's in talks with Bristol, surely the club need to act quickly to place someone in temporary charge for Sunday given that the players are likely to be in for training tomorrow?

Unless he decides against it today his position at least in terms of Sunday, is untenable.

Structures ensure continuity, so irrelevant who's in charge.

Agreed, if it's not sorted tomorrow he shouldn't be in charge on Saturday. Let Tommy Wright take the team and bring him back next week if Bristol doesn't work out.

Nah. Done deal. Assuming Wright will go with him. Bunny & Hecky to take the team on Sunday.

Spot of gardening leave might be the interim solution. If, and it's a big IF, he is talking to Bristol today then he can't be involved in preparation for the next match so say to him "Go away Lee, sort your life out and let us know what you want to do". No point in trying to make him stay, same as for a disaffected player.

If he really thinks the Ashton Gate grass is greener then there is nothing more to be said, except for how much are you going to pay us for his services? Might be enough to cover recent sacking/compensation packages.

It's all just madness though. He has got the team flying and we've booked a place at Wembley. He would be stupid to turn his back on that, unless of course they are offering him a ludicrously higher salary than he is on now. Money talks, always.

If he is still here on Sunday we need to chant for a wave then all wave him good bye.
