Let's not forget, he got Oldham into the top half of League One and was being touted as one to watch when he jumped ship to go to a "bigger club" which just happened to be us so lets not be too surprised that he looks like he's doing it again. The guy's loyalty is definitely to himself and not to any club which gives him a chance. If he keeps Brizzle in the Championship and gets them off to a good start next season he'll do exactly the same again if someone comes calling!
You would have thought he may want to achieve something with a club he could have easily took us to play offs and won jpt. But instead he is jumping ship yet again to a team who are very likely to be relegated.
Loyalty in footbal is non existent. Lee has shown his real colours when we were on a losing streak Patrick Cryne backed him, this did not happen at Bristol were the manager got the sack due to a poor run of results. Its normal in football if a team is in such a bad run the manager often gets the sack. Partick stood by him. It was not long ago when we beat Wigan that he was saying he would love to walk out at Wembly with Barnsley. He was happy to sign a 3 year contract with us 12 months ago. He seems to say one thing but thinks another. He realy should look in the mirror its not often a club owner stands by his manager when they are losing so many games, I feel very sorry for Patrick, he did the right thing for his manager now to do the dirty and look elsewhere, the man his no morals or loyalty only to himself. If he goes it will come back to bite him
I think Patrick held his nerve because L.J bought into his vision for the club.As for doing the dirty on P.C isn't it P.C who's gave him permission to talk to Bristol. The bottom line is hes been approached by a bigger club who he has ties with and more than likely a far greater wage.I'd like him to stay but if he goes the club will still move on.
