It was Adam Hammill that turned out season around - not Lee Johnson.

I really like Lee seems a top bloke and I do think he will be a decent manager one day but am ambivalent towards his departure.

I understand we are being well compensated as Bristol city are in a higher division.

I wish him all the best at Bristol but I really do think it will end in tears. It's a very tough job and he just isn't equipped for it at the moment. Hugely disappointing that he was unable to repay faith shown in him and perhaps tells us a little of his character. Any suggestion that he owes us nothing because 'the fans wanted him out' as ********; the fans were actually pretty tolerant considering league position, budget and the refusal to play a blindingly obvious 442 to get the best out of our best players.

When he finally did that, and the board signed Hammill, our fortunes improved.

I think Mark Cooper or Paul Heckingbottom, or possibly Rosler will be our next Head Coach.

Onwards and upwards. All the best Lee.

He hasn't said he's going yet but looks highly likely. But please not Hammill or Bobby. We want an experienced man at the helm.

Is he any good?...not sure..don't think anyone, hand on heart can say he is.
Good luck to him..I think the marker has been set by the thought of losing winnall and the mere thought of losing hammil.
So we care far more about losing one player than the coach kind of days everything.
Really nice bloke ....who may do well at Bristol.
If he leaves now are we stronger than before he came?
Id say we are but only because we have potentially better players...that may have had nothing to do with him.
The next coach will work within a very very similar remit.

I think its the knock on effects of Johnson leaving, rather than his departure in itself. Most of our better players are short term loans and contracts to the end of the season. How will we convince them to stay when even our leader leaves at the first opportunity? Will Hammill and White be joining Bristol City in the summer? All I see is short termism and constant change at the club.

Our best managers have been ones that were in their first managerial job, its the ones that we recruit from lower down with "growing reputations" that have turned out ***** ! Oh and that **** Spackman !!

I like the idea of Hignett. Would have liked Eaden too.

Possibly because I doubt we can afford what they are used to being paid.
