Not really. Considering the club probably haven't even approached anyone yet. The prices are based on what people have staked their money on. I can see Rosler being a popular choice with the fans, no matter how unrealistic an appointment he is.
They must be reading this forum. Got to be Gary Monks and Mark coopers odds have dipped a lot and Tommy Wright and co don't even feature.
wonder if there's owt in it then? not heard owt on the twitters, but we all said there was nowt in johnson's odds an all..
Did someone say that he was at Fleetwood on Thursday? Would make sense if the approach came earlier in the week as we all assume it did based on the odds of 1/6 at the beginning of the week. Maybe PC knew what the outcome would be and that LJ had already made his feelings known and instead of leaving it like last time have actually sounded someone out to come straight in.
I just did a bet request with skybet and they have put Tommy on at 12/1. He only has to be in charge ten games. If we win tomorrow then I think he'll be left in charge for the remainder of the season...
I think it could easily happen. The theory will probably be to keep the current team spirit together and re-evaluate in the summer. Tommy Wright gets my money.
looked at bristol city betting earlier today . there was less than 200 traded on johnson getting that job on betfair above even money . think there will be even less money bet on barnsley job too
I don't think he'll get it or we'll appoint a temporary manager for the following reasons: a) we're a semi attractive club at the moment with the team in good form and also the wembley trip. b) Still got a slim chance of getting in the play offs. c) Appointing a manager in the summer would be a bit of a car crash with him not knowing the current team or what he really needs. Also potentially leaving us with the left over dregs to pick from.
