    Surprised no one has mentioned him as a candidate. Allegedly applied for Chessy job before being offered the assistants post.

    Young aspiring manager, an ex red, good motivator and leader... But controversial due to HUME gate.

    Putting the Hume incident to one side, no I don't think it would be a good choice. I think the Blunts would've appointed him had he had something.

    I'm going to be controversial here.

    Take that one incident away and let's day it didn't happen. Would this still be the feeling?

    What he did was inexcusable yes. I shouted red card as it happened. Clear as day.

    But nobody could ever question commitment in anything he has done.

    Just put that one incident aside would he be viewed like this?
