That we've maintained our ability to make a right dog's dinner of selling tickets for 'owt perceived to be a 'big' game?? C'mon.....you know you love it!! If the club had done this one glitch-free, with everyone getting what they wanted, when they wanted, with no booking fees or handling charges, there'd have been folk on here moaning that they didn't have the chance to moan about the ticketing process. We're Barnsley....it's what we do!!
I'm out of the loop on this one. Without scrolling back through 24 hours of moaning, what are the issues with the ticketing process? All seemed fair to me. Hasn't using Ticketmaster been enforced by the competition sponsors anyway? My only gripe is we need 62 tickets at the moment, and you can only buy nine at once on Ticketmaster.
I understood that general sale was restricted to 9 ? Or is that what you meant ? Cos I'm buying 30 on Monday all being well....
Oh the usual stuff, mate - booking fees, priority sales, sitting together. It all seems fair enough to me too, but it wouldn't be Barnsley without a massive ticket brouhaha on here every time we get near winning 'owt.
You can have 4 tickets for each patron code. So you can have 30 tickets provided you have at least 8 patron codes attached to your account or on phone
You can register multiple season tickets to your BFC account and buy 4 match day tickets for each registered ST. So you'd need to add 15 more STs to your account to be able to buy 62 tickets in one transaction on Monday. (As I understand it).
Thanks for the clarity above. I'm glad it isn't me that's offered to buy the tickets on Monday ........ (hope you're reading this Nozza)
During the General Sale period a maximum of 9 tickets can be bought together in one transaction. This is the maximum number of tickets that any individual can purchase. More than 9 tickets can be purchased and sat together, however these must be purchased by more than one individual person. For example, 18 tickets can be purchased by two individuals (9 tickets each) and ask to be sat together. For supporters wishing to purchase more than 9 tickets sat together, please contact our dedicated Wembley tickets hotline on 08442 485 141.
So this thread is about folk who don't have a season ticket or know of anyone with spare places and want to book 30 seats..... Tell me any ticket company that doesn't set limits. 9 for me is more than I expected
Back in your box. It's nothing like that at all. I was just asking how multiple season ticket holders buy tickets next to each other as I hadn't twigged that the limit of 9 was from the general sale date, and you can add multiple season ticket codes.
Apart from Centenary members not getting priority I can't see any **** ups by the club on this. I think the arrangements are sound. Not aimed at the OP, but it's ironic that there's been a which hunt against negative posters over the past month yet some have the (negative) knives out against the club on the Wembley tickets issue.
The OP was definitely being sarcastic. There wasn't a witch hunt against negativity. Just constant repetition, thread hijacking, needless comments, and other such things. I can honestly say we never had an alert about negativity.
I was indeed. Just pointing out it wouldn't be a Barnsley ticket-sale without a million threads on here finding fault with it.
