We were going to sit behind the goals obviously a bit higher up as not to be looking through the net all the game. This is where we usually sit when we go for the Rugby Final. But it seems these 3 main section behind the goals are the singing sections. That probably means it will be full of fans who think cos they are in the singing section it will be ok to stand up all the game in front of 2 kids who can't see a thing for them. Looks like us having a re think on where to sit
Shouldnt be like that though should it. To me the singing section gives people with an attitude like yours reason to say you shouldn't have sat in this section if you actually want to see the game
Blocks 133-135. To be fair there are just 3 blocks in the entire allocation. I don't think it's unreasonable to be asked to sit somewhere else, if you think people in the singing section might stand up. https://barnsleyfccommunity.co.uk/assets/uploads/2016/02/16_02_BFC_JPT_Final_Doc_Web.pdf Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm more worried that (if I pluck up the courage to go) I'd want to sing but I don't think that's what the 'singing section' will really be about. I don't mind standing up and having a lovely old sing-song but I imagine the reality is going to be far different to that. However, if I sat in a different section do I have to be as quiet as a mouse? I need a genteel yet still vocal section.
Anyone can and should sing if they want. The section enables all those who are most vocal to recognise they can be pooled together to create the atmosphere that Wembley severely lacks on these occasions (because you get pockets of the regular singers all over and no song carries). Without one our end will be royaly trumped by Oxford fans. Try 132 or 136 perhaps then.
I think the singing section is a good idea, I have said so in the thread about it, the atmosphere at the semi was crap. but just seems a bit silly that they have picked a very popular area to have it. I have no problem standing up al the game but I'm not 11 years old. i think the singing sections should have been the thin green section all behind the goals right he way along I know Wembley is s big stadium and the are plenty of places to sit but there arnt plenty of places to sit behind the goals in the lower tier lol. I have been to the New Wembley at least once almost every year since it opened and have sat in many areas of it and people who say there isn't a bad seat at Wembley are talking ballox lol. we will sit some where else it's just a shame our first choice has been made the idiots enclosure lol. I'm sure if they had made it the other way around and made those sections the family part, and you could only sit there with children there would be. Lots moaning about that. To to be fair to BFC I'm Not sure if it's their choice or a Wembley thing
Hit the nail on the hee there Andy. Whatever they do, someone will have a moan about it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Literally about 22,000+ other seats to choose from (so far), some even very close to the singing sections with the same view. For once, the club have made a decision to enable people who want To create an atmosphere to be able to be sat together for once instead of spread all over. IMO it's a great decision by the club to actively aim to create backing for the team as opposed to our other Wembley/Cardiff trips, where he atmosphere has been pretty much non existent. Well done BFC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Could my view be potentially restricted by the sun's glare, as it arcs over the stadium? Can Radio Sheffield get Ben to call in and clarify please? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Will I be able to get seats together on the jubilee line into Wembley Park? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
