Bree's naivety showed. Made the same mistake he made at Fleetwood and did not have the positional sense to block Dack's goal. He is of course only 18 though and these things happen. Davies and Mawson need better communication. They simply don't talk and I was getting flashbacks to earlier in the season. Hecky made the wrong subs. Isgrove and Brownhill were playing to their usual standards and although something needed changing it was not that. Personally would have taken Winnall off who had a very poor game. Bradley Dack is a fantastic player. Caused us problems through out the game. Probably the best creative player we have come up against. The away end is a joke. Just that. Marley was the best of an off day bunch.
From.the replay I have seen on football league show looked like Mawson was slow to react for dack goal. Bree is young and will learn hoping for a good result against the pikeys
I think in the summer or even this loan window we need to get an experienced player in. If that's a keeper, a fullback or centre half either of those positions would be good. I feel now Long is gone. We'll be back to our early season defensive troubles. Roberts is ok for cover but I don't think he's that great (My opinion of course) And Nyatanga is Nyatanga and doesn't need an explanation. If possible Manford, Cryne etc, get someone with some experience in.
I agree with what you highlight, we do need to bring in a leader at the back, those who think that we will manage with what we have got will see our defensive frailties return to haunt us.
I think we certainly need to be looking for experienced players to play alongside our youngsters to sign for next season. All players make mistakes. Bree has been exceptionally good up to now given his age. I think he'll overcome this.
