Go on Barnsley's website and click on a block to buy tickets and this is what you are faced with

Click on league 2 oxfords and you get this

We get a poor quality picture of wembley where we then select a block and have no further option on where we sit, they get a much better image of wembley and when they select a block it shows them every seat in that block and they can then select which individual seat they want.

We are both paying the same price for tickets at the same place using the same booking agent so why do they have a much better system than we have?

Totally agree, we'll have paid 50p for Ticketmasters services and Oxford have prob paid for best service

I'll blow serious coin on it not being the last complaint.

I'd like an explanation for that. Both Oxford and Barnsley are paying the same £2.40 booking fee per ticket and £2.40 postage fee per transaction, yet they have a modern user friendly interface, while our system looks very much like what was around in the 90s.

It wouldn't matter so much if our system worked, but it didn't. I joined the queue at 7:45 am and waited about 25 minutes before gaining access to the site. I don't mind about that, these internet queueing systems are designed to prevent the site from crashing and I'm happy to wait my turn. When I got my turn I chose the tickets I wanted in the block where we all wanted to be and added these to the basket. I then had to assign each ticket to a season ticket holder individually. I was buying 26 tickets. This took an age. The site was very slow to refresh, it began crashing, it stopped giving me the option to assign tickets and eventually threw me out altogether to the back of the queue again. I went through the whole process again and I was taken to the back of the queue again. On the third attempt, I could no longer get all the tickets in the same block, so we're now separated. I would have liked some tickets on one row and some on the row behind, but we've got them in one long line. The system has put all the adults together, all the OAPs together and all the kids together, so I can't give people tickets next to their child.

If that was the system then so be it, but Oxford, paying the same fees to the same booking agent for the same event at the same stadium, have a system that would prevent all the problems I have encountered. Not only that, but I've had to pay more for the 6 OAP tickets than was advertised. £60 more in total.

I've just spent almost a grand and it's just not good enough.

How did you get all your tickets on same row Jay?? I want to buy 18 tickets all sat together. But only giving me option to buy 10. Put them in basket and go back to get 8 more and those 8 are no where near the other 10..... AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH

We are selling on best available basis on the blocks you select. If you are buying more than 4 with them being assigned you should be getting them together.Unless they are the last in that block or row ends. My 11 are all in a line

But why are we selling the with a far poorer system than Oxford? And who is to say what best available is? I might prefer to sit lower down, Jay higher up. Same block but two different views on what best available is. If we were oxford fans we could decide what best available is ourselves, because we are Barnsley fans we cant. Cash cows, that's all we are

Doesn't bother me that ticketmaster & the club are using the final to scam the fans. I've made my stand, I AINT GOING. If your complaining now wait till you want to buy a pint and a burger, better arrange a mortgage before you set off.

Why can't our fans who are being overcharged anyway for the tinpot trophy decide themselves which seats are best available in a block like Oxford fans can?

I went back on this afternoon and got a different view - the same one as oxford view.

I bought tickets this morning with no option other than the block. This afternoon i could have booked specific seats - rang up but they can't tell me if i can switch or cancel and rebook. I have to ring the club - except it's constantly engaged! Still i've got tickets and it was an ok system this morning. But would have preferred the later option!!
