You can't disagree that this beats standing outside in a queue that heads all way round the stadium with a 5 hour wait plus the courtesy of travelling there and booking a day off for some, fannying about meeting folk to pick up and use their season ticket to get seats together. There's obviously gonna be a few faults as this is a new concept to the club and fans and it's hard to get it right 100% right at vthe start. Give me this and a £2 charge any day than the latter.
agreed royston. but they've ****** it up. no two ways about it. i was initially quite supportive, but as i've heard more stories come in, they've definitely ballsed it up. choose your seat not switched on and many blocks not available, has resulted in people ending up with tickets they didn't really want. proper proper barnsley is this.
As I've been overcharged by £60 on OAP tickets, paid £62.40 booking fees, was unable to have parents and children sitting together and have our party split across two blocks, at this point, I can definitely disagree.
Has the improved flexibility and availability coincided with the telephone booking lines opening? I mean no one hears frustration aimed at a monitor...
I'm with you on this one. We have a group of about 12 who have had to do our own thing, you can't expect one person to take control and pay out a huge amount of money then go collecting. Some might think the ticket buying experience is better but it has ruined the Wembley experience.
Paid almost £1,000 for tickets. We're in a long row of 12 in one block, a long row of 14 in another block entirely, we're going to need walky talkies to speak to one another. All the adults are seated together, then all the OAPs, then all the children. You couldn't choose your row or your seat, you couldn't have kids sat next to adults. The idea that you could buy as many tickets as you'd got season tickets to cover was nonsense as you could choose a maximum of 10 adults (or kids or OAPs) in one transaction. It's a joke really. I'm not annoyed 'cos I can't be arsed, but they charged me £62.40 for that. And I had to pay £60 more than the tickets were advertised at. There's a hell of a lot to be said for speaking to someone face to face.
