2 of us sat trying to book 6 Cat 1 tickets together this morning since 8am! Crap website, failure to buy more than 1 ticket, no response on the provided helpline and ended up having to call the number after midday only to be offered 6 individual seats in CAT 2 sat row behind row!!!!!!! 1. How can something so easy be so bad! 2. How can 6 tickets NOT be available side by side but miraculously 6 tickets available in seat 28 on each consecutive row one behind the other! So already p!ssed off as a group before we get there ....For those who will ask the question why we accepted the tickets we got offered: 1. We didnt want to drop to Cat 3 behind the nets 2. I agree ....In hindsight it may have been better saying NO when put on the spot by the box office and just watching the game on TV instead! God I miss getting up at daft o'clock on a morning and queuing in the freezing cold for 4 hours at the Oakwell Turnstyles to get the right tickets! (IT Progress at it's worst)
I know it's not a helpful answer but many did get Cat 1 tickets on same row this morning. I got 11 all on same row and i know many others who got similar.
Yeah I appreciate that but 2 of us tried, different accounts, different browsers and no joy. (Getting 1 ticket was fine but 2 and upwards I kept getting the message I had to allocate clients on the payment page but couldn't get that far). Wasn't bothered where we all sat together as long as they were CAT1 but hey ho un-happy customer!
The problem with quotes on the internet is you can never be certain they're authentic. - Abraham Lincoln
Were there children an OAPs in that? Because you could't get more than 10 adults (or 10 children or 10 OAPs) in one go. And who wants to sit on a row of 11 anyway? You want six in front and five behind, so you can all speak.
he he. I've always liked the Tibor Fischer one (which I can vouch for - I have the book) and have had cause to use it frequently during a career in IT.
The club will have lots of sorting out to do for the overcharging etc. I would say that when you purchase your tickets the contract is between you and the club, therefore they should be responsible for sorting the mess not fobbing people off to ticket master.
Yes same type of problem 8am to 12....one problem after another....ended up having to go down to the club spent nearly 30 minutes on phone to ticketmaster either waiting or talking, only to be told block bookings ....14 intotal need to be done by the club its self. ....Wrong.... .went down to club ...well done the blonde young lady... all 14 booked in with right amount of season tickets. ....unfortunately 7 on one side of the gangway 7 at the other...couldnt get 7 behind each other ....not to worry £48 tickets booked. So a massive thankyou BFC.....and a massive thumbs down for ticketmaster.on line
Oh dear, it's just been a big balls up again hasn't it. I wonder what percentage Ticketmaster are on.
You jest but you're probably right. Company of strangers in the queue with you to pass the time of day and proper customer service of face to face being dealt with rather than relying on a website. Good customer service is a dying breed.
there should be no need for ticketmaster...i went to the challenge cup final with cas tigers a couple of years ago..we qued outside the club shop then as we got to the front of the que you were shown the seating plan, you told them how many tickets you wanted, which you were then given as you paid for them, then as you turned round there was a desk with four sat at it taking bookings for the buses,in and out within five minutes, easy peasy.
