on a daily basis if nothing else. With it all being automated... although your stories today would make a mockery of that... there will be a running total somewhere. Surely no more "sorry luv, we don't really know." What I want to know is that when I come to book mine in a week's time I'm not going to have to feyt someone for the forty thousandth ticket.
League Two Oxford have some kind of ticket counter on their forum. Not sure how accurate it is. Or even if it's kosher. It was showing just over 13k sold to League Two fans this morning.
It's from their official Twitter page, so we must know how many have been sold. 7k season ticket holders getting up to 4, must have sold a fair bit this morning. Oxford only sold 7,500 to their season ticket holders and they could get a fair few per ST, they've plenty of neutrals out for a day trip.
There's someone on the Oxford v Barnsley Facebook page saying we've sold 16,009. Can't tell whether he's pillocking or genuine.
Club rang me back at 5.30 trying to change my tickets for me. She told me we had sold 10,000 today that's why it crashed this morning. She said Oxford had only sold 5,000 on their opening day. When I asked about being overcharged on 2 tickets she said that ticketmaster was responsible for OAP overcharge and they were going to work overnight to refund everybody.
Aye just seen it, you would think we would have a ticker like Oxford, a bit of encouragement to reach the next milestone like they're doing. That's pretty good going though for first days sales for a game not as well thought of by our fans as a play off.
I only buy tickets when I see it’s getting close to a milestone, infact when we are looking to break 30,000 I’ll buy a few more to make sure!
