Green Man is excellent for pre match. Always go there before England games. 10 mins walk from the stadium.
There are certain pubs for season ticket holders and others for general sale glory hunters. You will need to prove which variety you are.
I go to watch England on a regular basis and i would advise avoiding Wembley pubs due to high prices and plastic glasses. I always find the area around St Pancras to be decent. There are several pubs within easy walking distance Euston Flyer, Rocket, O'Neills, Mabels tavern and Betjemen bar think the Rocket opens at 9am on Sunday and O'Neills and Betjemen at 10am. Direct tube to Wembley on Metropolitan line so convenient for travel. Alternatively Camden just 1 mile away has loads of pubs so i would skip Wembley until as late as possible.
Rumour has it that Chris Powell is opening a bar down there, I imagine you will spend your full day in there won't you?
Think thats our plan. oneills to start then either round euston down soho or up campden. Choices are endless.
