    I was sat in the pub yesterday when I got talking to a family,

    all of a sudden I have been told that Barnsley FC has been sold to prince of some country ( sorry can't remember UAE or somewhere out that way )
    and the deal was done in Sheffield,

    So, what the best thing you have heard about our club lately

    It's true. It's the owner of Sheff United who has bought us and he's gonna combine the two clubs together called Sheffield and Barnsley Albion. Chris Morgan apparently the new manager on a 15 year contract.

    not buying into that, should be "Barnsley and Sheffield Albion". B comes before S in the alphabet !

    Just a rumour mate, not saying if it's true or not. Was told by a mate of a mate who's pub is next door to one of the directors at Sheff United's daughters son in law.

    mmm strange i heard something similar apparently Toby Tyke is being replaced by prince the sh1atsu.. maybe thats where the rumour started

    their was a bloke on the BMD page on facebook who reckoned if we got to final of the JPT, we'd arranged with arsenal to wear their kit as we wouldn't be able to get a kit ready in time???
