The next fan engagement forum with BFC is on Wednesday evening. If you have anything you would like to raise with BFC Management or our owner please either post it here or PM me. The club would like items for the agenda tomorrow so please let me have them before say lunchtime tomorrow. Ta Gally
Most important question has to be about contract extentions for winnall, hourihane, scowen and hammill. Cheers Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Agree about contract extensions but I'll White to that list as well. Hammill is way too good for this division surely? But maybe if he's tied to a contract we'd at least get a fee if he did leave...
Has the club given any more thought to the idea of Rimmo/Shotton etc being involved in some way at Wembley?
Will there be a season tickets installments plan in place for next season? And if so what are the terms?
Who'd win in a fight between Scowen and Hammill (a) under Queensbury rules and (b) all-in no holds barred?
Which other countries do our scout network look at? There's been a few Good Irish and Scandinavian players over the years
What exactly are the 'structures' that support the Head Coach? E.g. does any one man have the final say on transfer activity or is there a committee who collaborate on incomings/outgoings? If there is one person, is this the Head Coach?
The team's winning, we're going to Wembley, so I've no interest in finding fault or questioning them over anything at the moment. I wouldn't mind if you conveyed to them how impressive their handling of Johnson's departure was though. Very professional with bucket loads of class. Not that it matters what I think, but it seemed there were plenty of others who thought the same. I've given them plenty of criticism, about time I offered some plaudits.
In hindsight (and for many foresight) does the club regret the decision to use Ticketmaster to sell Wembley tickets? Do they accept hat the aggro and inconvenience to the supporters was unacceptable? Why did the club go radio silent over the issues instead of putting out explanations via official sources to explain what was happening? As I understand it the club was well aware of them overcharging fans but didn't put out a statement, instead opting to answer each fan one at a time when they contacted the club. Fans were also extremely confused about blocks but could get no reasonable response from the club on the issue. What assurances can they give t ensure this doesn't happen again? How are the club justifying being the most expensive coaches to Wembley despite having bulk buying power on their side? Did Ben want to sack LJ or was he and Patrick in full agreement on keeping him? What is Patrick's (and bens if he wanted to keep him too) personal thoughts on Lee Johnson showing them personally no loyalty? What is the reasoning behind making him Patrick's guest at Wembley? It appears very noble of Patrick. Is there any possibility of live streaming these fan meetings in the future for the benefit of all supporters? Would Ben/Patrick be willing to conduct an online Q &A session? Possibly via Twitter or even the BBS? Reddit AMA style possibly? On Saturday the sprinklers were turned on while it was raining. The groundsmen were frantically forking the area around the sprinkler to help it drain. Could somebody explain the logic behind this. - only reason for asking is that there is probably a reason and an explanation of that reasoning would stop future criticism. There are a lot of empty advertising spaces around the ground. In the East lower concourse there are around 6 empty advertising boards (the poster ones not perimeter advertising). Would it be wise to put a 'advertise here' notice in the empty spaces alongside an estimated price? I know companies who would be interested if the price was pointed out to them. Are the club interested in having a shirt design competition similar to Doncaster who have allowed fans to come up with any design they want and then vote on it. The winner has already been decided. What assurances can the club give that they will have the shirts on sale this year in time for fathers day? Was there any attempt made to take Tommy Wright to Bristol? Are any stadium improvements planned for the summer? Do the club know the cost of any potential stadium improvements such as an extension to the north side of the East stand to accommodate a children's activity area or a fit out of the unfinished mezzanine to create the above and/or a proper supporters bar? If the club could give the fans coatings for these it is possible that the supporters trust and wsb could attempt to raise money to fun these things which would then be huge boosts to the 'experience' for supporters. What is the potential value of the game at Wembley? I saw Ben talk of half a million but also seem to recall Patrick speaking of a much lower figure and also seem to remember Don saying we didn't get that much from the Wembley semi final.
Some good uns there. Still don't know why we had such a massive mark up on that coat they released or why the badge was on the wrong side. Be nice to know why Donny Rovers programmes sold out before the match had even started. Rather silly not to get enough printed out.
Are the club pleased with the 20,000 tickets sold ? Do they not think that with cheaper official coaches a lot more people would have considered going , being put off by the high cost of the official coaches and rail charges. Why will they still not allow bottle tops to be given to a kid buying a bottle of pop. Any news on the scoreboard. Why can they not open the gates at half time at the back of the Eaststand so people can have a *** outside like at most grounds in this division. Have they set a target for Hecky to achieve for him to be given the job full time. Will they be knocking on doors again trying to sell season tickets or not bother now that LJ has gone. Any news on next seasons ticket prices ? Any plans to review match day prices, maybe introduce family prices for pay on the gate ?
