Why did he drop Brownhill? Arguably our best player & certainly our most consistent performer. Much better than Scowen technical ability wise.

We missed Aidy. G.Williams did a sound job defensively but we really could have done with the great wing play A.White offers.

Danny Rose put in a shameful performance. Constantly diving, fouling and generally acting like an idiot. Deserved the boos as he went off.

We gave up any hope of victory after the SO. Just because you have 10 men doesn't mean you can't at least try to attack. We were just kicking it anywhere from the 83rd minute.

Flicker has a great dress sense. Not many managers go for jeans on the sidelines.

What the **** was all that Xmas nonsense all about??

Danny Rose... Sounded like he got a good reception when he came on in the first half, polar opposite in the 2nd?

Fashion doesn't help managers, just look at LJ.

Christmas nonsense... because the original game was on Boxing Day.

Danny Rose is a wind up merchant & a good one. He reminds me a bit of Craig Bellamy.

We loved it when he was doing it against Shackell & Shittu but obviously it's not so nice against your club.

I agree with everything else in your original post but on what basis is Brownhill our best player? He's slotted in well in Pearson's absence but he's not stood out that much for me. I'd be happy with either in there but think Scowen is the better player.

Brownhill unlucky to be dropped however scowen needed to get a game under his belt as we then have good cover wether he or brown hill start next game. Very likely to have injuries / suspensions to cover in near future.

Since his 1st game at Shrewsbury Brownhill has been fantastic. His all round game cannot be faulted. He's always looking to drive the team forward and shoots on sight. He is technically gifted on the ball and does a sound job defensively. Preston are fools for picking Pearson over him.

It's called meddling, why drop a player when he,s doing an ace job just because somebody else who's our own player ain't started a game for a while sorry but nobody can convince me otherwise unless he,s carrying a knock of course.
