I've long held a belief, and the success of Leicester City this year have helped cement it, is that you could win the Premier League with a team made up of players from Championship level and below. Now I'm not saying this will ever happen...but lets just say that if you had the right manager and picked an effective system and hand picked the players to play that system and had no injuries and no dodgy decisions go against you then do you think a team made up of non PL players could challenge for the title and perhaps win it? Before this season how many of Leicester's players were considered Premier League players with pedigree. It's just a theory I have. Not many agree though.
I have my own views on what's behind it but I'd rather not express them because I want to enjoy the fairytale as much as everyone else
Hmmm, Thai owners supplying them with undetectable Asian drugs that allow them to run around like every minute of the game was the first? (Clearly only jesting, should any of the afore-mentioned owner's legal representatives chance upon this thread).
