We looked at many countries, but with our experiences in Mozambique and Angola we fell in love with the Portuguese culture and way of life, then after visiting Portugal itself it was a done deal. Good weather all year round, Western Europe, good people, fantastic food and still cheaper to live than most other European countries. I'm flying there tomorrow to finalise the purchase of our new home, close to beach with good surfing, close to 3 golf courses, fado, 35 mins from Lisbon. A dream come true and finally I'm going to live it. The poor boy from Barnsley.
