I will probably get grief for being on here again - but here goes anyway - I'm sure you can appreciate the feeling your club gets if ever a legend from the past returns - well Grant Holt has come back to Dale and he has given the place an almighty lift. Here he is bullying the Blunts on Saturday - enjoy.

Great lad, Holty, and still has something to offer at this level in short bursts. But you're right. Our policy is to sign players like Winnall and Watkins.

Big nasty ba$tard of a battering ram he may be but he even surprised me with his 45 min cameo on Saturday. I wasn't expecting him to have such an impact so soon and seemingly so long away from full match fitness. Just a class player, so much appreciation of the players around him and so sharp in the box too. A proper old school footballer who'll run and fight for the ball all day long. Just a massive lift for any fan who he plays for - the fact he's a Dale legend multiplies it by 100. We play Coventry on Saturday too - so could do you a big favour.

I've seen plenty of threads/topics on here I don't particularly have interest in. I choose not to enter them. Shame you can't do the same rather than again pulling up a friendly rival supporter.
