Can anyone fill in the gap for me left by soccerbase?

I have Jim Iley in charge until April 14th 1978, but Allan Clarke not taking over until June the same year, so who was in charge for the final four games of the 77/78 season please?

Gerry Young, who was the first team coach under Iley.

Be careful using Soccerbase and Wikipedia as they tend to round things up to cover the gaps and I'm still scratching my head over what happened in 1937. Brough Fletcher resigned on Jan 25th and Angus Seed who was appointed on Feb 12th was contracted to give a months notice at Aldershot before he could take over. They eventually appointed a successor and Seed made his Oakwell Managerial debut v Villa on Feb 27th. Wikipedia has shown the name Michael Walker for this period for longer than I can remember.

They both miss the periods after Angus Seed, Tim Ward and Wikipedia also incorrectly gives the spell after Mad Mel to Eric Winstanley.

Exactly, the most successful manager in Barnsleys history. Won every game without conceding a goal. He was a teacher at Willogarth in his early days and I remember a few of his pupils giving him proper dogs abuse when he played for S****horpe at Oakwell.

Errrrrrrrr thats a great shout and I'm not too sure to be honest but I know we were up against it for space. Both him and Gerry Young are missing. Buddy Maxwell was the one above all that should have been included and I was disappointed to see him cut from the print run. Only two other players have scored a Hat trick on their Barnsley League debuts.
